Social Media Marketing Intern
Dive deep into research and storytelling to shape data rights.
CDA is seeking two Interns with strong research and writing skills to support public relations, marketing, and social media initiatives. This role is foundational and ideal for someone who enjoys deep research, clear writing, and turning information into compelling, usable materials. Bonus if you want to be on the ground floor of a nonprofit redefining data ownership rights, use, and security in the digital economy.
We’re building the Clean Data Alliance to restore dignity, agency, and truth to the data economy. If you want to help do that work, this is a real place to contribute.
What You’ll Do
Conduct in-depth research to support PR, marketing, and social media strategy
Perform media and press research (reporters, outlets, coverage trends, pitch angles)
Research speaking opportunities, events, and industry platforms
Support content research for social media, thought leadership, and marketing campaigns
Assist writing and drafting materials, including research briefs, pitch notes, press release inputs, and content outlines
Organize research into a centralized Marketing Folder for PR, speaking, and social medi
What You’ll Deliver
Well-written research summaries and insight briefs
Organized media and event lists
Draft materials that support PR outreach, marketing campaigns, and social content
Post and engage on LinkedIn and Bluesky social media accounts, possible YouTube work
